Friday, April 17th, 2009:
5:30 pm, Cocktails and light snacks at Scott Carswell's house, behind the Moon on 1105 E. Lafayette St. (www.moonevents.com) -- ALL Fla. High classes are invited -- parking is available at the Moon
6:00 pm, Seafood & BBQ at Scott's
8:00 pm, Move to the Moon (all Leon High grads are invited to join us at this time) - cash bar & snacks - (FREE--no charge to anyone attending)
8:30 pm, Band begins at Moon (band = TBA) - (FREE--no charge to anyone attending)
10:30 pm, Private reunion party ends
10:30 pm, The public comes in as the Moon's regular "Stetson's on the Moon" starts -- reunion party people can stay if they want, either inside with the public or in the Silver Moon Lounge
Sat., April 18th:
11 am, buses, motor homes, cars & vans will leave from the Moon parking lot (1105 E. Lafayette St.) to to go to Scott's beach house at St. Teresa Beach (4228 St. Teresa Ave., 32358, by the old Wilson's Beach Cottages/Camp Weed area) for boating, swimming, seafood and BBQ, & music (band TBA -- maybe Jet Blue, Rick Phillips' band) -- GET DIRECTIONS
Sat. EVENING, April 18th:
Leon High School Reunion, Silver Slipper Restaurant (531 Silver Slipper Lane, www.thesilverslipper.com). We are invited to join them AFTER their banquet is over..... Time TBA.
DIRECTIONS
Get on the Crawfordville Highway (319), which is S. Adams Street. Go for about 20 miles, and you will hit Medart and Highway 98. Turn right. Keep going until you come to the bridge at Ochlockonee Bay. You will see Angelo's Restaurant on your left as you get to the bridge. When you cross the bridge, go seven (7) more miles. On your left you will see a drive marked with CARSWELL on a green paddle. If you forget to check mileage at the bridge, it is 1.2 miles past Bay North Gated Community.
